Susan Scrupski has always been a writer—of essays, tech columns, blog posts, business manifestos. But in the past year, she’s flipped the script on her creative life, diving headfirst into songwriting with the help of AI. What started as a quiet daydream—maybe even a late-night Google rabbit hole—has become a full-on second act.

With a decades-long career in the tech industry and a lifelong instinct for storytelling, Susan now lives at the intersection of heart and hardware. Her lyrics are raw, poetic, and unmistakably personal. But behind the scenes? She’s partnered with cutting-edge AI tools to turn those lyrics into fully produced, genre-bending tracks that span Country, Indie, Rock, and whatever else the story demands.

She doesn’t just write songs—she writes her life into them. Grief, joy, heartbreak, resurrection. It’s all in there. And while the industry debates whether AI belongs in music, Susan’s already out here doing it—recording, performing, distributing, and building a body of work that doesn’t care about gatekeepers.

Now with two full albums and more in the works, she’s turning her focus to collaboration—working with musicians, producers, and fellow misfits who believe in the power of co-creation. She’s also launched a coaching practice, You Rock Studio, to help other aspiring songwriters tap into the same magic: honest storytelling, fearless creativity, and AI tools that make the impossible feel doable.

This isn’t about chasing fame.

This is about making art.

And she’s just getting started.
